This couldn’t be more perfect for my mentality the last few months. The road hasn’t been an easy one to travel. It’s taken time for me to revel in my new found freedom.

Far too often we settle for relationships which are just “okay” or “good enough.” Maybe the fear of being alone is overwhelming to some. Being single is a scary thing, but it’s also a brave thing.
We don’t often associate singleness with bravery. But we should. It’s easy to travel a sure road and stay in something which may not be for our best. To lose ourselves in other people and use them as a crutch. Navigating single life without compromising our values to find someone teaches us to become comfortable in our own skin.
For those single ladies, I challenge you this week to do something alone. Go to the movies by yourself (gasp!) or treat yourself to dinner. Put yourself outside your comfort zone and say yes to being alone. Once you live to tell about it (because, contrary to what you may think, you will not die from eating alone), comment below and let me know how it went!
