I had been working on a simple yoga pose that, on any other day, I wouldn’t think twice about. As my frustration grew because my balance was off, my body was shaky, and my concentration had vanished, I realized that I had only had 8 hours of sleep in the last two days. It was time to HALT.
Sometimes we just need to be reminded to not make decisions when we are too hungry, angry, lonely, or tired. When the frustrations come and your brain becomes foggy, take some time to yourself to check your emotional, physical, and spiritual well being! Don’t forget to press into God’s truths and lean on His Spirit.
